How we handle your data, orders, and questions.
This page is maintained by the owners of Privacy Zone Signs to answer common security and privacy questions about the store. It is not a third-party certification or audit — it describes the controls and practices currently in place. Last reviewed when this page was published.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the name, shipping address, email, and order details required to fulfil and ship your sign. When you use the contact form, we store the name, email, optional phone number, and message you submit so we can reply.
We do not ask for, store, or process card numbers ourselves — see Payments below.
How we use it
Order details are used to print, pack, ship, and support your purchase. Contact form submissions are used to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Shopify. Card data is entered on Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout and is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Subprocessors we rely on
- Shopify — storefront, checkout, and order processing.
- Lovable Cloud — application hosting, database, and transactional email infrastructure.
- Print-on-demand partner — production and shipping of your sign.
Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its task (for example, the print partner receives the shipping address and the artwork to print).
Email and contact form
Submissions through the contact form are stored in our database and trigger a notification email to the store owner and a confirmation email to you. The form includes basic anti-spam protection.
Access controls
Customer and contact data is protected by row-level access rules in the database. Only the store owner and the backend service role can read submissions; the public website cannot list or query them.
Retention and deletion
Order records are retained for as long as needed to support warranty, accounting, and tax obligations. Contact form submissions are kept while the enquiry is active and removed on request.

Cookies and analytics
The storefront uses cookies that are strictly necessary for cart and checkout via Shopify. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Security contact
To report a suspected vulnerability or security concern, submit details and steps to reproduce via our contact form. We aim to acknowledge reports promptly.
